An EICR Test is an Electrical Installation Condition Report. This is an inspection of a properties electrical installation in order to ensure its safety in line with the current BS7671 regulations
Some electrical faults are difficult to see or know they are there, so having an electrical inspection carried out by our skilled electrician will help check the current integrity of your installation. Checking for damage or deterioration will reduce the risk of fire and electrical incidents within your home to ensure its safety and reliability.
In April 2021 it became necessary for all business owners and landlords to have a mandatory 5 year periodic inspection within their properties.
If you are buying a new property, having an EICR test can alert you to any electrical issues and help protect you from unexpected costs prior to completing the sale.
EICR Testing has to be completed by an approved electrician who is able to carry out both a visual and electrical examination of your installation. This inspection includes:

The report will either show the installation to be satisfactory or unsatisfactory. An unsatisfactory report will show areas in need of improvement. SF Rees Electrical will be happy to quote for the remedial works to gain a satisfactory report.
